WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN THE BIBLE

2:32 PM

In order to understand the message of the Bible one must use the gift of logic. The propensity for logical thinking is already in most people, but the gift itself comes from the Creator. God is Spirit, which means: He is not a man or a woman in a physical sense. He is genderless, simply because He does not have a physical body. However, anything physical, like genders, symbolizes procreation and fruitfulness. All species in the entire creation propagate their kind through sex, from birds, to mammals to fish. Therefore, anything living in a physical form only symbolizes; and even reflects to certain extent, the Creator whose main objective must be procreation and protraction; and never destruction or its termination. Those are just the basics.

When you start reading the Bible, above anything else, you must grasp three aspects of:
  • The spirit realm. Anything spiritual, which due to absence of time is instantaneous.
  • There is no fixed territory and no boundaries.
  • There is no darkness in which things can hide; hence no secrets.
From these three points comes spiritual logic. Out of many fragments and isolated pieces of knowledge, or sayings, there must emerge logic of the one God.

NOTE: The Latin word LOGIA speaks of knowledge, which should not be confused with Logic, which is the Greek word, LOGIKE. One can have tons of knowledge yet no logic. Knowledge can be scraps of disjoined information, and yet it is still knowledge. It is not the case with the biblical knowledge.

The heavenly logic must eventually bring all things back to God’s oneness. So, the simplest way to explain logic is that it makes one. Fragments do confuse. Just as is the case with jigsaw puzzles, where all pieces must perfectly fit, so it is with the realm of God.

How are jigsaw puzzles made? You have a picture on a cardboard. A cutting machine with bent into different shapes metal blades cuts through the cardboard and that’s it. Those pieces are then packaged and marketed. As help, the merchandise includes the original picture to look at; and then figure out how does each piece might fit in different areas of the picture.

Some can do it quite fast, providing that they have already done it before several times; and their skills have been sharpened to some extent, but those who do that for the very first time might use more time. There are some pieces that look like they might fit, but they do not belong when the colors and shapes do not blend, or match one particular area of the picture. One cannot force a piece into a place in which that piece does not belong. All pieces of the puzzle must relate to different areas of the picture and fit. Some frustration is quite common, but the crowning achievement can be quite satisfactory.

THE USE OF LOGIC

With the use of logic we make out of many fragments something solid and one; and that is also the ultimate goal when reading the Bible. The ninth fruit of the Holy Spirit is self-discipline (Galatians 5:22-23). Without self-control, or self-discipline, no puzzle can ever be put together. Some people are so proud of their achievement that they frame their final put-together puzzle; and hang it on the wall. Indeed it is an achievement, but again it only symbolizes something much higher. All physical things point to something higher, a realm from which life came. Hence, “In Him we live and move and (exist) have our being” (Acts 17:28). Above all things God, of whom the entire Bible speaks, is life.

Life has no boundaries and no restrictions. The spirit of life is no matter, which we can measure (5 cm x 10 cm) and therefore define in terms of time and space, which in turn comes from the understanding of distances. Space is boundless. Any attempt to measure it is futile; nonetheless, we have some measurements of distances between the sun and earth, but that is only possible because of the presence of material mass. Each planet and any floating in space debris speak of time and distance. However, God is beyond mass, time and distance.

If we could measure God we would be able to control Him. From this comes the pagan thinking versus the spiritual thinking. One worships idols depicted with statues, figures and pictures, which can be measured with height width and thickness, which can be touched and handled; hence, idols are man-made and also controlled by physical and uprightly walking people.

In monotheistic religions the new God (of Abraham, Isaac and Israel) is called THEO-LOGY, which means (man’s) knowledge about God. Too often this knowledge, theology, is permanently and unchangeably fixed; hence it is no longer living and moving. Again, in that sense it a self-made god.

The desire to be in control, regarding all things in life because of the sense of insecurity, takes many out on a wild ride. The constant faith “bombardment” just to believe and hold on to it does not include logic or reason, but rather blind faith itself. Faith itself is being prized as if being a god. It is being prized as something almost magical, painting a picture as if I can get and do anything by faith apart from God; regardless if it is God’s will and plan for my life or not. This detachment from God is pagan.

[Mark 11:22-23] And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him."
Have faith IN God.  Have your trust put in God; and based on this kind of faith; inspired by God you can do almost anything. But what about when God does not inspire you? What happens then? Your faith is then self-made and not God’s gift given for the time of need. Watch yourself carefully, for many winds of doctrines would take you on a ride you do not want to take. It is not self-produced human faith. It is the God-produced kind of faith and the God-given GIFT OF FAITH, which, when used appropriately, produces astounding results. Jesus said that of Himself He could do nothing (John 5:19; 30). So no matter how much Jesus wanted to perform a work of power in His hometown Nazareth He could do no miracle.

[Mark 6:3-6] And He could do no miracle there except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He wondered at their unbelief.
This unbelief was not in miracles themselves but rather that they did not receive or accepted Jesus as a prophet and much less as the promised Messiah. Logically speaking, in verse 4, Jesus said that ‘a prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household.’

THREE LOGICAL PRINCIPLES

From these three logical principles: no time, no fixed territory and no darkness, we derive the heavenly logic and begin to spiritualize our mind. Our mind is not the physical brain, which has a beginning and an end. Mind is endless. It is God’s supernatural endless gift. Make note of this statement for you will find it very useful in your exploration. Brain is only a physical organ; everything else is spiritual; soul, spirit and mind. Just as we can’t control wind so we can’t control spirit; hence the Hebrew word for Spirit is also wind (RUACH).

We shall not speak about our fears, insecurities and doubts here for these are only offshoots of something that should not even be in the first place, but since they are in us; we must not combat them. The best way to be free from fear and lose any insecurity is to, again, understand these three principles about the Creator: in Him there is no darkness so, no guessing, no hiding, and no secrets. It is man’s work to hide and obscure light for only the physical man seeks to get away with something and so he obscures things on purpose in order to gain advantage over those less informed, or those less intelligent. This advantage works well in the financial institutions; and we call it the fine print. Did you read the fine print? Hardly anyone reads it, but anyway we sign at the “x,” which a clerk made for us.

GOD’S LAW

When God gave the Law to Moses and then to Israel; He gave us ten principles (The Ten Commandments) to live by, which Jesus summarized in only one sentence.

[Luke 6:31] Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.

The Ten Commandments emerged from God’s nature and His attributes:

Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth” (Exodus 34:6).
God is love, compassion, graciousness, slowness to anger, abundance of lovingkindness and the truth; and these reveal His true nature. You would have to believe and fully accept this before you could go on reading the Bible and understand it.

  • Compassion brings healing (Matthew 14:14).
  • Graciousness enlarges your space. It speaks of freedom and the underserved favor, for God sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous all the same.
  • God is not too hasty to explode, but He is slow to anger because He is patient. He has time, which only restricts anything material; and also us in many ways.
  • He overflows with HESID, which is an active love. He sustains life.
  • He is the Truth, which is the perfect light that reveals everything. In Him there’s no shadow, no guessing and no groping in darkness of ignorance.

Based on God’s character He told us how to treat one another then to not cause any harm or injury. His spirit of life resides in all of us; hence He resides in us. By being conscientious regarding this matter we would not, in any way; sin against ourselves; against others and therefore also against Him. So these are the basics.

HOW TO READ THE BIBLE

You start with God’s oneness. You start with God’s oneness. He only manifests Himself in three dimensions: God the decision maker, His Son – Jesus and the Spirit of Truth on earth the Holy Spirit. When it comes to comprehension we deal with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Jesus paid the price for our sinful behavior so He took the injury and hurt upon Himself so that He might ask the Father for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was not yet sent, because Jesus was not yet glorified (John 7:37-39). This is important! Don’t lose this. Be anchored in this truth!

When the Holy Spirit came (Acts 2), as first, with Him came the conviction of sin, and then repentance followed; and then came the water baptism; and then comes learning. This is the sequence. Remember this sequence and never depart from it.

In John 16:13 Jesus said that when (the Holy Spirit) the Spirit of Truth comes He would teach, remind and guide us into all the Truth. He does not speak from Himself because His identity is in the WORD, which is Jesus, and Jesus does not speak from Himself because He only says what the Father says; and He does what the Father does. The Father does not do anything from Himself, but only through His WORD (Jesus) and by the procreative power of the Holy Spirit. So, this you must look for in the Bible.

Remember: there is no self and no self-identity in God, which only comes from anything material found in time and in any measured distance. You cannot measure God or His eternal kingdom, can you?

THE BOOK OF GENESIS

  •  GOD.
  • God the Father spoke the WORD.
  • HOLY SPIRIT brought forth; just as an earthly mother would bring forth a child.

However, there are also the angels as the fourth component of the God entity. Angels are spirits, flames and winds, God’s messengers and ministers. These four components, like the four winds, or a cross, speak of changes—and as it is the case with crossroads—it also speaks of brand new decisions.

CORRELATING THE OLD TESTAMENT WITH THE NEW TESTAMENT

Neither Testament is better or inferior to the other for both explain the mystery of God, salvation and God’s plan for humankind. The Old Testament maps the genealogical line that carries the COVENANT (with Abraham). The New Testament only mentions this in Luke 3:23-38, but does not dwell on it, for after all as the New Covenant it is an extension of the former.

In order to understand the New Testament one must know the old. That’s quite simple, because we know that from Cain came the Kenites called the TARES in the NT; and through Abraham - from Set - came the good seed. Everything else (to us) is irrelevant. Why? – Because we only identify with the good seed. All other things are only points of interest.  We trace our line as to why we are the way we are; and why others are the way they are. This is no discrimination, but an answer to many questions, which a wise man keeps to himself. Discernment and then keeping your mouth shut is wisdom. Are you mature enough to do it? This is of the utmost significance!

Watch for two genealogical lines: one from Adam’s son Seth who is called the replacement son, and another from Cain.

  • The replacement son (because Cain killed Abel) had a son called Enosh; at that point people started to call on God’s name YHVH. This is the New Testament’s picture of the Holy Spirit, which Jesus promised to us after Jesus had gone back to the Father glorified. Instead of the physical man Jesus we have the Holy Spirit today.
  • Cain’s line went blurry after he left Eden for Nod where he had married a strange woman and raised an offspring. Cain’s offspring has been identified as Kenites. Look for Kenites in the Bible. Jesus said that by their fruits you would recognize them. (Matthew 7:16-22; 13:30, 38; John 8:44; 1 John 3 and many more.) Jesus uses the term “tares.” Watch for the son of perdition and also Belial etc. These synonyms depict the root of Cain. Kenites  settled Canaan (Genesis 15:19). God had reasons for the termination of Canaan and why He chose and told Israel to completely destroy those peoples.
  • Then look for three archetypes, Japheth, Canaan and Shem (Genesis 5:32; chapters 9-10).  Study the emergence of nations. From these three types, which are mentioned in the New Testament, come the masses (field), tares (Kenites, Canaan) and the good seed (Shem, Abraham, Moses, David Jesus and us). All these are on the earth and not in heaven. (You will find no genetics in heaven.) Watch for the parable about the treasure, which a man had found and then bought the field (the world) in order to dig up the treasure and possess it as His own. “Who is the treasure" is the proper formulation of a sentence in this case; and not “what is His treasure" for the Creator owns everything anyway. He seeks children and not hirelings, whom He had hired to do the job of digging up His treasure.

Do you identify with God’s treasure? If you do, then that’s good because you are about to embark on a journey of great discovery. Open your mind and grasp God’s thoughts!

NOTE: It is only help. If you conclude otherwise then please share with me, but remember the helper. All substantiated disagreements are welcome here.

SATAN & THE DEVIL

Study the Old Testament first and see Satan in a different light than the world sees him. Logic is helpful. Who created Satan? Is God the Creator the God, or a god? Did you choose Him or He chose you, whom He foreknew, as the scripture states? Did you make God or He made you? Etc. This is of utmost importance! Remain anchored in this.

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified (Romans 8:29-30).

Cleave to straight and simple thinking. Simplify things, for only the fleshly and sensational man complicates things with his or her outlandish and farfetched put-on sophistications. If we came from the OMNISCIENT GOD who knows everything, because in Him and in His Kingdom time is nonexistent, then He knows who you are, where you came from and where you are going. That’s just a very simple logic. Dwell on that.

If Lucifer fell then there had to be a war in heaven. Logic: the place of no time, no darkness and no territory all of a sudden is subject to plots, intrigues and struggles.

Read Isaiah 14 carefully. From this chapter man created the devil theology. Look for words like ‘king, man, grave or maggots…’ Can a spirit, wind and flame undergo corruption? Highly significant!

In God’s court of law Satan is God’s prosecutor, but who is the devil? Look into the ancient Greek mythology and you will find DIABOLOS the devil there. Why was Satan equated with the devil, diabolos? And why Hades (Hebrew, Sheol - death) has been called Gahanna (Hebr. Gehinnom a valley of burning - hell)? Reason with yourself. Reasoning comes from the Hebrew word RATZON which is your mind. Whom does the devil represent since Jesus said that ‘he was the first murderer and liar.’ Do not get blindly indoctrinated by someone you might respect, for the respect build-up is done on purpose. I seek no respect here, but to make muddy waters clear again.

Most authorities always fought for respects, even to the point of calling themselves gods. Don’t forget it!

Once this intelligent stream of deduction is opened and followed you will be elucidated, illuminated and enlightened by the Spirit of Truth the Holy Spirit. Allow Him to guide you into all the truth. Don’t settle for less.

The name Satan in the Old Testament appears only three times: in the Book of Job, Chronicles and Zechariah. These books were written in, or shortly after the Babylonian exile. Check the dates and periods to better understand the origins of the evolvement of dualistic thinking.

Remember to be on guard against paganism, polytheism and dualism; for once you allow it you will confuse yourself; and by this you will also grieve the Holy Spirit of Truth. God is one and His Truth is also one, which leads back to the source of all things.

The Hebrew Satan of the OT is different from the Greek NT Satan. In the New Testament Satan is mixed with the mythological DIABOLOS. Plain truth.

It is important to go back in time; for before the exile to Babylon only Jews clung to the One God. Israel fell into idolatry and was dispersed by the Assyrians. The exile to Babylon involved only the Judeans. After Medo-Persia they (Judeans) have returned to Jerusalem as Jews; and by then their monotheistic thought was severely compromised. This is of utmost importance. The timeline is important in this case, for Beelzebub or Beelzebul, which the Pharisees were busy with, which they equated with the Greek Diabolos; they equated with Satan.

[Mark 3:22-23] The scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and “He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.” And He called them to Himself and began speaking to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?”

Note how Jesus changed the name from Beelzebul to Satan, which “Beelzebul” was also called DIABOLOS the devil. This confusion remains to this day.

Scientific NOTE: The Gospel of Mark is the oldest of all gospels; therefore the closest to the original tale about Jesus.

This was the accusation. So, who was Beelzebul? Was it not the old Baal of Jezebel whom Elijah did not fear? Follow the origins of this thought. Think intelligently.

This trash entered the monotheistic Jewish house during circa 600 years. 70 years of exile and about five centuries of Greek mythological indoctrination called Hellenization. Timeline is important.

Is Satan attached to the Omnipotent God, or is he detached from the not so sovereign over His entire creation god? God’s sovereignty over all of His creation is crucial otherwise chaos will fill your mind. So these are the fences to keep you in God’s oneness. But it is up to you to put those fences up or keep them down.

Check your heart’s affection. Who do you love more; God or dualism; or theology; and still try to be theologically correct? The “beloved” devil is the subconscious exit door, but what about the truth? God will let you have it and He won’t throw you down to hell just because you have deprived yourself of knowledge that leads to wisdom. Even if you like the scapegoat idea, which our predecessors (the Kenites) gave to us still the loving God won’t punish you for it. The only thing is this: you would deprive yourself of the knowledge of truth that leads to life. You will not know Him in this life or the life to come.

Which desire is stronger, the one for God your Creator, or for self; and a god of your own interpretations? This check is important for it determines whether you still brood in paganism or are fully cleansed from it.

ANGELS

Angels must be understood. They do not speak from themselves but only transmit that which God says, and nothing more. They do not reason, and do not preach or teach. They are only God’s messengers. Like your country’s ambassador to another country, angels only say what the King says. Just as ambassadors do not speak from themselves but follow their government’s dictum, so do God’s angels.

See the difference between angels and overcomers. Angels are flames, winds and spirits, (Psalms 104:4; Hebrews 1:7). While being rooted in this knowledge and understanding read about fire, which cannot burn an angel of the Lord (Judges 13:20). After resurrection we shall be like angels.

[Mark 12:25] For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Overcomers are those like Enoch, or Elijah whom God took alive. Elijah appeared on the Mt. of Transfiguration. (Jesus hinted at John’s translation also, which the disciples understood that John would not die.) This is important because the two men that went to Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18 & 19) took Lot by the hand, while at the same time the angel—in whom was God’s name YHVH—kept speaking with Abraham. Abraham addressed the angel in whom God’s name was YHVH as the Lord. Hence, He addressed him as ADDONI, 'My Lord.' To better understand it check this with what God said to Moses.

[Exodus 23:20-21] “Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Be on your guard before him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your transgression, since My name (YHVH) is in him.

Every sin is forgiven, but any transgression against the Holy Spirit (who brings God’s Holy Name YHVH) is never forgiven. God speaks through His ministering spirits to us. Check Acts 10 where God’s angel advised Cornelius to send for Peter the preacher. Angels don’t preach or teach. It was the Lord that advised Cornelius rather than the angel. Associate this with Romans 10:14, 17 (preacher and faith).

It is essential to associate and correlate, for that is the logic of oneness, which leads back to the one Creator. You can only know Him in His oneness; all other knowledge is a mixture and of conjectures, assumptions and mystery.

IN CLOSING

The central message of the Bible is this:
  1. God permitted us to eat of the Tree of Knowledge.
  2. Experience consequences of disobedience.
  3. The possibility of repentance (Hebr. SHOOV, a return to God).
  4. After we ate of the Tree we have received the power of contrast and choice. Choice is only possible in the presence of two different things: ‘for’ or ‘against.’ God blessed us with this ability with which we decide and choose. Man polluted this blessed truth making it as some terrible sin, yet God in His love provided repentance for us.
  5. God concludes with the Five Books of Moses Deuteronomy 30:29 (TORAH, composed of TOV and RAH, good and bad) “CHOOSE.”
  6. God is the Father who looks for His lost children. Lost in their flesh, which clings to only dust, from which death also comes; hence, the spiritual identity with God the Spirit (John 4:24) has been secondary, even lost. God seeks to restore that spiritual identity. This story weaves itself throughout the entire Bible; and Jesus told us about it in the story of the Prodigal Son who had REPENTED, which means: he returned home, back to the Father.
  7. The discovery as to who we are and where we are going is the central theme of the Bible. It is not so much our natural, racial or ethnic identity, but rather the spiritual one. Genes play a role because they carry hidden messages, but they are only in the physical makeup of the human genome. Past complexities of our predecessors created a chasm between our God who is Spirit and us the physical beings. The nations (Hebr. Goyim) became pagan, which is a mixture of spiritual and physical things. Anything mixed is confusing and things must be sorted out.

[Matthew 13:30] Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, first gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn. [Matthew 25 31-33] But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.

This sorting and different treatment of each kind has to do with our choice. However, some will not choose for they can’t allow themselves to depend and completely put their trust in anyone else but only themselves.

NOTE: In order to be physically healed there must come a certain measure of dependency on God, relying on His love and grace; otherwise the sick will turn to a man, a doctor, medicine or will trust in a surgeon. Men make mistakes, and people die on the operating tables. Nonetheless, the trust in just the flesh and its knowledge is stronger than any trust in God, which stems from the absence of knowledge; of God’s character; and of His ways. The restoration of trust in God can only come through teaching and learning and its fruit is a better knowledge, which leads to spiritual experience with God.

Because of fear and self-reliance people have always sought a scapegoat, just in case… The perfect faith in God is then out of the question, but God already knew that. Therefore in His love and compassion He had determined to completely burn up the tares and the field with His timeless and instant eternal fire. Like an instant anesthesia, all self-awareness and any former identity are completely erased as if it has never existed. However, these two types (field and tares) have by then fulfilled their mission on earth.

Many people do not care if they go to heaven or are resurrected; they are already convinced that after this show there won’t be another. How do they know that? Hence, Jesus said,

[Matthew 13:31] To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. [Matthew 6:44] No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.

·      Japheth – field, masses serving a special purpose on earth.
·      Canaan – tares, thorns and thistles, we know these by their fruits.
·      Shem – The good seed, sons of God even the peacemakers.

Which one do you identify yourself with? The Bible was written for you so that you might know the truth about your Creator and about yourself.
