The love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. [Romans 5:5]
Dear friend, faithful supporter of the Luxum Light Ministry. A ministry is a light bearer; and God’s love is like a candlestick. The light becomes more and more intense and ever brighter. Without the Holy Spirit—poured into our hearts like the fuel for our fire—we would not be doing anything significant. A ministry must be effective in changing lives. The power of the Holy Spirit comes only to change something old into something new, otherwise we have no need for that awesome power of God.
[Isaiah 48:6-7] I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known. “They are created now and not long ago; and before today you have not heard them, so that you will not say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’
Obviously, the Lord does not want you to be proud and satisfied with something you have known already. He wants to give you something fresh and very new, like the freshly baked bread from your local bakery. Also, the new wine must be poured not into the old wineskins but new. Therefore the new wineskins must be made first. Tradition and repetitiousness of anything old will never produce wisdom. Inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit, but when it comes we must part with those comfortable beaten paths in which the fleshly man feels quite secure; therefore unwilling to change. Yes, let the flesh feel insecure and let the spirit man triumph in your life. The new is always challenging and the Lord loves to bring it to us.
God’s love is intense and possessive. Pagans fear our “mysterious” God, because they do not know Him as the Perfect Love that eliminates all fears. Our God is mighty. He is your Father. He made you for Himself. You have not made Him for yourself to suit your every whim and desire. He is the straight line, which any zigzags of yours must finally be made straight and blend with His truth. His word is the sanctifying Truth. (John 17:17)
[Deuteronomy 30:6-15] The LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live. (…) “It is not in heaven, (…) Nor is it beyond the sea, (…) the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, (…) to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways.
O my dearest friend, it is so simple and yet to a fleshly person so hard. Why being fleshly, what does one profit from being so hard, “established” in formalities and the repetitive beaten paths? – Is eating, drinking and eliminating so important that it takes over all of our attention? Money, which is added to something much higher, often becomes the most sought after commodity and the source of most worries. You do not know what a minister has to go through when being supported by people whose whims often change. If we were depending on people’s support and only look into their hands we would have quit ministering long time ago for the pressure would have been unbearable. We see how people oppress themselves with the unnecessary. Although they know well about the supernatural provisions, yet, they still worry. That worry steals the very joy and blocks the very experience with God’s love.
The love of God, like anything else in life is unleashed when we speak about it. It is then that we make it present. Try it my dear friend. Find someone you can exchange words about the love of God. It is not far from you it is so near; and as you read it about it right now the ex-change is already taking place. Give it further. Don’t keep it to yourself for the moment you do, you kill it. God’s love must flow. It cannot be possessed, just as you cannot possess God, but be possessed by Him. If you were able to possess God’s perfect Love you would be a god and you would rule the Universe. If you were able to control God’s attributes, lovingkindness, compassion and the supernatural then you would control God Himself. Many try to do exactly that. They have already demonstrated this fact in many ways; one of them is theology. A framed picture is a controlled picture of God; therefore an idol and no longer the All Mighty.
Pagans fear God; His children are loved by God and love Him back by sharing His love with other God’s children. If you do not know who is God’s child then ask Him and He will lead you to one. Don’t waste precious time on those who harbor hate, animosities and have never tried to reconcile with anyone by holding a grudge; a sign of a sick soul. Have mercy on them and move on with God’s love.
No one can possess God and no one can possess His love, or hoard it up and keep it all to oneself. That selfishness tramples down those most precious pearls. God’s love must be shared, from mouth to mouth, from smile to smile, from one good word to another good word; regardless if one deserves it or not. Do it for the sheer joy of sharing and giving, then experience that heavenly thrill, which everyone seeks.
I give God’s love to you, and I do love you, because I am “blessedly selfish” (positive) I am blessed each time I share God’s love therefore this act of “selfishness” is okay, because once you discover what really happens after you have shared God’s love you would want to repeat that thrilling experience. Yes, you want to be blessed and be loved in return. There’s nothing wrong with that; Jesus said that such is the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-38)
God made us to be pleasure-oriented people, but He has enormous reserves of divine pleasures, which you perhaps know very little about. Since He had made us so, He wants us to experience the spiritual pleasures. The German language has already sold that word “pleasure” to just the physical experience, and that’s too bad. The language symbolizes how the German-speaking people have deprived themselves of the extra-dimensional pleasurable experience with God.
God has sent His love and He always uses people. But people abuse God’s love, simply because their souls are not well; and in a very peculiar way do not want to get well. It’s a mystery.
[Psalms 16:11] You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
This is not religion or religiousness that only belongs in a church, in this letter or at our meetings. It belongs at your family table while breaking bread, just as you share a meal together; using love-filled words share God’s love. You can eat the physical food and at the same time also the spiritual. That’s how God’s love begins to be poured into your heart and the thrill of hearing it is much more than just the hearing itself, it is the heavenly joy, which you long for.
